UNITED COUNTRY AUCTION SERVICES SPONSORS FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA CAMP: CULTIVATING THE NEXT GENERATION OF AUCTIONEERS

United Country Auction Services is proud to sponsor the Future Farmers of America (FFA) Camp, a groundbreaking program designed to sustain and grow the auctioneer profession. This innovative initiative fosters a competitive championship among FFA students, encouraging them to explore and excel in the art of auctioneering.

This visionary program, developed by a dedicated team in Oklahoma, has quickly gained traction, with multiple states adopting it in their own FFA chapters. Just last week, a professional auctioneer from Arizona reached out to inquire about joining this exciting movement, highlighting the program’s rapid expansion and growing influence.

We are thrilled to announce the Oklahoma Auction School’s FFA Camp, made possible through the generous support of United Country Auction Services. Special thanks go to Shawn Terrel and Jimmie Dean Coffey, lifelong supporters of the National FFA, whose unwavering belief in the transformative power of an Auctioneering Career Development Event (CDE) is driving the future of the auction industry in America.

In addition to this exciting development, we are pleased to share that legislation providing funding for renovations of the Oklahoma FFA Alumni Leadership Camp, located near Wagoner, has been signed into law. The one-time $9.5 million appropriation will improve housing options at the camp and allow for the purchase of maintenance equipment for the buildings and grounds. The alumni camp, which began 52 years ago, has been held at the Wagoner location for over four decades. Six other Oklahoma CareerTech student organizations utilize the property as well, but deteriorating conditions recently forced FFA to relocate its leadership event.

Once renovated, the camp will be open to FFA members from all 366 chapters in all 77 Oklahoma counties. It is also expected to be used by other agricultural youth organizations, church camps, corporate retreats, family reunions, and hobby or special interest groups.
