Local Real Estate Business Expands Services with Auctions, Brings in National Team

More than 55 acres of irrigated crop land recently sold at auction for $277,000 in Weld County, Colo. The auction attracted buyers from seven states and sold for above seller expectations.

Co-listed by Lisa Bowman, broker of United Country Real Estate | Eagle Hawk Realty Group, and Shawn Terrel, auctioneer & president of United Country Auction Services, the online auction brought in 30 registered bidders from seven states and had more than 4,600 views from all over the country. The property sold for $5,040 an acre, which was more than 20 percent over expectations.

The auction was the first of many more that Bowman and her team plan to host. She said with auctions, you can sell quickly and above expectations.

“I learned a lot from Shawn and his team. The process was incredible,” said Bowman. “Auctions are a great way to sell land and farms. And with United Country, we are able to get more reach and exposure for the property. The sellers were extremely happy.”
